When I was about five years old I made a little baby quilt out of old scrap fabrics my aunt had given me.  That project sparked a strong passion in me because I haven’t stopped sewing since.

I'm a recent graduate from Iowa State University with a degree in Apparel Design and a minor in Entrepreneurship.   Not only have my internships with Sherri Hill and Abercrombie + Fitch helped shape me as a designer, they also prepared me for the professional workplace.  A semester abroad in Florence, Italy opened my eyes to a new perspective on design and I will forever reflect those lessons.

My senior collection, Elysian, was by far the most challenging project I've completed, but it's also what I'm most proud of.  That feeling of accomplishment is what drives me the most and I know I will bring that attitude to my future workplace.

Fulfilling my dreams has been my #1 priority since the day I made that first baby quilt.  I'm actively seeking creative design roles in women's or children's wear.
